Gasket, seal, and shim work is constrained by dimensional tolerance: the gasket has to seat in millimeters, the shim has to land at the correct thickness, and the seal has to hold the system pressure on a face that has not been milled in years. Belzona's form-in-place compounds are specified against those tolerances.
