Overview
Kraft digesters and surrounding chemical recovery equipment carry sulfate-rich black liquor at high temperature, a service that thins ordinary tank linings and accelerates corrosion at every weld and access port. Belzona 1391T is the ceramic-filled immersion coating rated to 248°F (120°C) for vessels and clarifiers in the secondary recovery loop; Belzona 4341 (Magma CR4) covers chemical-attack zones where inorganic acids drive the failure mode rather than temperature. Both apply cold inside the existing shutdown and avoid the welder-and-stress-relief cycle that a full liner replacement demands.
