Overview
Ladle turrets and continuous-caster bearing supports take eccentric heavy load combined with thermal expansion from molten-metal proximity, and bearing-housing wear shifts the rotating axis enough to threaten cast quality. Belzona 7111 chocks the bearing housing back to OEM alignment with a pourable 100% solids compound that handles thermal and physical shock; Belzona 1311 (Ceramic R-Metal) rebuilds eroded bearing bores and retainer surfaces with a ceramic-filled cold-cure metal composite. Both apply during the scheduled caster turnaround without OEM-shop rework on the bearing housing itself.
